We keep our cost LOW in many ways:
1. We are a family run business. My wife, Kathy, runs the front office and manages all of the phone and email inquiries so we have low overhead.
2. We operate in an outpatient clinic instead of a hospital so there are no facility fees.
3. We use local anesthesia and our patients are awake and comfortable throughout the reversal. We do not have the high cost and risk associated with general anesthesia, in which patients are asleep for the procedure and under the care of an anesthesiologist. We have no anesthesia fees. I had my own vasectomy reversed with only local anesthesia, so I know it is feasible.
4. We feel this is an ethical and fair price. Because there are no guarantees with a vasectomy reversal, regardless of the provider, we feel that it is unreasonable for couples to pay $8,000-$10,000 or more while knowing that the reversal may not be successful. Our price makes a vasectomy reversal a reasonable step for couples desiring more children.
