Do I need a consultation before surgery?
Consultations are NOT required for this procedure. Since many patients are traveling long distances, it is not feasible to require this before surgery. Some patients prefer to meet Dr. Sommers and see the office before the day of surgery. To accommodate this, we offer consultations at 12pm on most Thursdays. The information covered is the same as the day of surgery. A physical exam is not performed. The cost is $100 which will be credited towards your surgery.
